_{-Description: A lithe tom with long legs and a charming little smile. His frame is covered in thick, fluffy fur that gives him the illusion of being larger than he actually is. Although a small amount of white adorns his pelt on his toes, ear tips, nose, and underbelly, his base color is a medium gray that gives way to a dark gray on his back, head, and tail. Large stripes spiral to a center on the side of his body, with a few of these stripes trailing onto his legs and continuing onto the top of his tail. Fluffy tuffs poke out from the top of his defined ears that frame his head. A long nose stripe flows up onto his forehead, and two stripes frame the top and bottom of his eyes as they wrap around the inner corner part of it. Below the bottom eye stripe is another small one. The fluff on the side of his cheeks is darker in color, and a dark mane starts at the top of his head and flows all the way to the beginning of his shoulder blades. While most of the mane is pushed back, there are three tuffs that make a point of standing out. His eyes are a striking orange-amber color that make a remarkable contrast against his dark pelt.}

Able to intently focus and pick up on new ideas, he has always shown an natural aptitude for understand and applying his known information to benefit him in the best way possible. He reads other cats as if they were books in a library waiting to be scoured for the tiniest detail. By noting specific aspects of others, he feels that he is better able to understand them and portray his thoughts and beliefs in a way that would allow them to fully grasp the message he is trying to convey. It's wise to be aware of what one would say when in his presence, because it's very likely that the tom would remember it and keep it tucked away in his mind for far longer than they'd want.}

_{Hydra, even from the time of little kitten feet and wobbly little tails, was a perceptive cat who asked questions as soon as his mouth could utter his first words. There doesn't seem to be enough knowledge in the world to fill his big brain, and a lack of answer or concrete evidence leaves him disappointed and even disheartened. He has a craving to know all there is to know about the world he lives in, and it angers him that so many live their lives ignorant and unwilling to go out and find the answers to long-standing questions. While others become enthralled with the workings of social dynamics or the latest news regarding another cat, he is unamused. In his mind, their lives are fleeting and small - the happenings of the universe are so much more important and interesting to him, especially when he knows that there are unanswered inquiries waiting to be conquered.}

_{With a charming smile, devilish good looks, and captivating eyes, Hydra knows he's quite the handsome tom and uses this to his advantage at every chance he can get. If not otherwise annoyed about something, he's known to be rather friendly and outgoing with others, portraying a certain rugged politeness to strangers and acquaintances alike. Those who don't like him are obviously not drawn in by the almost flirtatious nature of the cat, but those who have no particular beef with him probably find him an enjoying, if not entertaining person to be around. He has a way of speaking with believable passion and retelling stories with a dramatic flare that never leave a dull moment in the conversation. He easily can flow into a conversation and his incredible memory assists him in remembering even the tiniest details about others, even if they'd rather forget about some of them themselves. _{While most would assume that Hydra is protective in the sense that he's defensive about his beliefs and opinions, he's actually more protective in the sense that if anyone dared to harm his family or speak ill of them, he would pull every stop to make sure he could ruin the offender's life. In fact, he is so fiercely defensive and concerned for his family's wellbeing that he would consider going against everything he's ever believed in if it meant keeping them safe. Having strong family ties is important to him, so important that only actions regarding his family will drag him away from his more selfish tendencies. Being supportive of family is never a bad thing, not in the least, but should he become so enraged and annoyed with someone and no one in his family is able to stop him from going on a rampage, he would willingly break laws and rules to deliever justice and put them in their place (even if it's not in his right or duty to do so). This stems from a belief of his that he should be able to defend his family without the interference of anyone else, even though having cooperation from others could help him avoid getting in as much trouble with others.}

_{Whatever you do, do not, never, EVER, EVER get into a debate with Hydra unless you're prepared for a fight so embedded and constrained with his soul that will keep conflict align through both family lines for years. Okay, perhaps that's a bit of an exaggeration, but the truth of the matter is that this tom has a habit of making up his mind and sticking to his mistakes without retraction. He'd probably refrain from even calling his mistakes "mistakes," even if it's been proved by others that he'd mistepped in an opinion or done something wrong. In private to a close friend or family member he'd admit defeat, but he is a proud cat who despises when others back out and contradict their beliefs just because of what someone else says. Not easily swayed by others, he reaches his conclusions after analyzing and coming to what he believes is the best course of action, and in consequence has an answer that shouldn't be able to be proved wrong. His stubbornness can be almost admirable, standing in the face of opposition when no one else will stand with him, but it's also a trait that has and will continue to get him into trouble with the wrong people at the wrong time.}

_{Hydra thinks that everything he does, any project he takes up, or any rant he begins to plan should be carefully planned and organized if he has the chance to do so. This tends to apply more to his projects and theories than anything else, as his rants are a result of an explosion of rage and he lives life as reacting to situations and turning them to benefit him as much as possible. He takes great pride in his accomplishments and would rather have them with as little error as possible, if not completely void of error. Many cats would rather do their duties as quickly as possible and move onto the next thing, but Hydra's projects have a tendency of being a little bit more thought out and organized. However, in consequence, he gets caught up on these details and will take much longer than others when working on a specific task, even when the situation doesn't require as much attention as it should. Oftentimes he ends up working independently because he has a certain way that he envisions a project being completed, and others tire of waiting and quite frankly annoy him when they try to pry or change something he's done.}

_{This cat is 10/10 ready to fight and throw down at any given time, no matter the reason. Short-tempered and rash, should Hydra hear anyone speaking ill of him, his ideas, or a treasured friend or family member, he will immediately throw himself into the fray and start an argument. Part of this tom loves debating, but another part of him is simply prone to having an agitated response to anything that comes off even mildly passive aggressive. His hasty nature is almost a direct consequence of his passion and pride in what he does. To mock him over something he's discussed or discovered would imply to him that others believe he wasted his time, and there is nothing more that he hates than thinking hours of precious time was washed away. So instead of evaluating what he's done, the first reaction is for him to (verbally) attack whoever disregarded his opinion and to stand his ground. Most of the time, his temper remains hidden and concealed. Heaven forbid he interacts with a cat just as proud as him, because there's no doubt his temper would rear it's vengeful head should they engage into an argument.}

_{Far too often Hydra will get worked up about issues and topics that he can't let go of, and in result he will talk the ears off of whoever happens to be nearby. It's not a need to repeat himself that makes his sentences so wordy; he believes that he needs to go into more detail for others to understand him. More often than not, this detail is not asked for, but the charismatic nature of this tom makes it near impossible to get away unless he becomes distracted or moves onto another topic. He loves talking and chatting anyway - silence bores him - but he has a problem of not really being able to stop talking once he's begun. Some think it's because he likes to hear the sound of his own voice, and they wouldn't be too far off from the truth. While he's not enamored with the particular aesthetic of his voice, he does heartily believe in his opinions and come to the conclusion that it's his duty to express them to each and every person he can find...much to everyone else's annoyance.}

_{Should Hydra have one big catch, one fatal flaw, just one thing that could singlehandedly bring him down, it would be his elated sense of self-importance and excessive pride in himself. Confidence and pride in one's work can be a good thing for sure, but not for Hydra and how it creates a beast in him that is desperate to continually prove his worth and a voice that whispers: "You're so much better than everyone else here, you know that? You can become greater than any of them." This tom is very aware of his intellect and thirst for knowledge, and while he knows that there are others in the world who have the same talents as him, he likes to think that he's something a little bit more. Perhaps he's right, maybe he is worth something more, but that isn't for him to decide and it surely isn't his place to make that kind of claim to himself. Many of his actions are motivated by his own self-interest and how said actions can help him in life. This doesn't mean that he would leave someone in need lying on the dirt, but more along the lines of thinking "Oh, look, an opportunity" without regarding how others would feel about his actions.}

_{Alethea immediately sensed the vague somber attitude that took on the words of her friend and bit the inside of her lip in regret. Something had to have happened, otherwise she would just told her in the first place. As if she didn't already feel enough pain from her actions in the past, she felt like she was digging skeletons from the closet and not just figuratively. 'You say it's okay but I was there maybe he would be okay...Ugh, I had to leave though, damnit.' She remained frustrated in her mind, but was kind enough to not let it show. This was Talia's time to speak.

Dante was regarded rather well in her mind. He was a few years older but she often wondered why such a man would be in a place like that; she was often paired with him for missions and she respected his skill. While Alethea mulled over these thoughts she gave her order as a usual roast, glancing out the window to watch the people as they walked by busily. Such usual lives humans lived, in fact. Oh, how they believed their existence to be so full of hardship and misery, and to some extent that could be true. She knew of a handful that truly had devastating events happened to them and she sympathized. Not everyone could live a life of luxury and peace, after all. The fact of the matter is that ghouls in general did not live happy lives. How could they? It was easy in moments like this to relax and be at peace, but it could only last so long. The next day would bring about more destruction and the cycle would begin again. There was no real break, even for Alethea, who had chosen a more peaceful life than others.

Even when times seemed calm, there would always be the memories of what had transpired in the past.

Taking a deep breath she turned her gaze back to Talia, her eyes almost half-closed with her long eyelashes shading them. "It seems we can never escape the actions of our past..." she murmured, almost to herself, but loud enough to suggest that she didn't particularly care if Talia heard her. Alethea cracked a small, gentle smile, "You don't have to tell me details if you don't want to. This won't be our only meeting, hopefully."

Romeo had taken to curling up near Talia's leg, the warm atmosphere of the coffee shop relaxing the small dog. Did he know she was a ghoul? Perhaps dogs didn't particular have the connotation of the word like humans did, but he did know that she was like his owner. Romeo had seen his owner fight before, mainly for practice, and registered that she was different than humans. Romeo also knew that ghouls didn't eat dogs so he really didn't care, and if Alethea was okay with this woman then he guessed he was too.}
